The introduction of a dedicated regulator to oversee building standards and enforce compliance is a welcome move for the building industry and for property owners across the state Victoria.
This shift mirrors what we’ve already seen take shape in NSW, where stronger oversight and regulatory enforcement have begun to lift standards across the sector.
At Aster Alliance, we see firsthand the consequences of poor construction practices. Many of our projects involve stepping in to recover, restructure and complete developments that have been left in limbo due to non-compliance or mismanagement.
